My beautiful 94 year old nanny has just bravely let my family know she too had been assaulted by two carers this week, she had been sitting on this for weeks as she didn’t want to cause a fuss. It’s broken our hearts to know she had experienced such fear and trauma in the early hours of the morning, but I am so proud that she had courage to tell us and report it. I know there is so many elderly out there who don’t have a voice or family to turn to for help, it’s just awful.
